I attended a “Meet The Candidates” meeting put on by Transition Towns Kenmore last night (Wednesday). They are fortunate in having the use of the Kenmore Uniting Church hall for their public meetings.
There was quite a good turnout. The candidates were:
Sandra Bayley (Greens)
Michael Johnson (Independent)
Steven Miles(Labour)
We would have liked to have one in The Grove but the lack of a suitable venue was a problem.
