The main political parties are creating a professional political class apparatchiks who are parasites on our political processes.

Some use Council as a stepping stone to state or federal parliament.

Some are young and eager but very inexperienced in terms of life wisdom and exposure to the real concerns of locals in the area.

Are they setting out to make a career in politics?

Or are they quality locals well-known for their contribution in the local area with a keen interest in the needs of local residents?

Whatever party candidates come from beware of apparatchiksand keep an eye out for top local contributors who will be around for some time and deliver us real local services and facilities?
