Tip from Lynne Whittle:
Oil of cloves kills mould spores. Recommendation is to put 4 drops of oil of cloves in 750mls of water then spray it on. Wipe off (the mould will come off too).
Oil of cloves is expensive.
It is selling out very fast in the shops at the moment. You can get the same result by soaking 20 cloves in boiling water for 20 minutes and then using that water.
If you add it to baby oil it can be used to wipe leather over – it will soak into the leather and kill the mould spores.
