When we attended the Arana Chamber of Commerce breakfast we met up with the organiser of [b]Arana Ausfest[/b]. The event is on 9 October and we can get a space at no charge because we are a not-for-profit association.
TTG member and Kedron Catchment branch president Robert Standish-White has responded to the call for graphic designer and offered to submit some ideas. Robert is an environmental architect so that is pretty exciting.
I have obtained prices for various items needed for Ausfest and other similar events as follows:
[ul][li]BCF Keperra have OzTrail marquees of suitable quality for $299.00 plus three heavy duty ‘walls’ for $60.00 each (Total $479.00)[/li]
[li]Bunnings have suitable blow-moulded steel framed trestle tables for $50.00 each (I suggest we get two)[/li]
[li]I have an email quote from CityScape Design and Print for a 3000 x 300mm vinyl banner for $170.00 (I need to get a bit more detail regarding this one) but it gives an indication of price[/li][/ul]
Once I have resolved some more details and we have had any discussion I will submit a proposal to purchase these items and participate in the event.
