Sandra Bayley the Greens House of Representative candidate for Ryan was there. And Bruce Kimble the Electoral Officer from Geoff Wilson’s office.
Queensland Transport had half a dozen people there talking with locals who turned up to look at the proposals ask questions and make their suggestions and views.
Some locals were very passionate and there was quite a surprisingly wide range of points made on the proposals.
Both proposals bode ill for the lorikeets as they have buildings where the lorikeet trees are now. There does not seem any plan at all for assisting the lorikeets to relocate to new home trees. We’d need to ask for this clearly.
