Rainfall this summer in December is apparently above normal although a bit patchy over most of Queensland. Didn’t seem much rain in The Grove though!
We are now in our three heaviest rainfall months (January February and March).
Our rainfall mainly comes from small-scale systems with thunderstorms and heavy showers. There are big variations between places not a terribly long way apart.
In 2011 in spite of the huge floods in January we recorded not much above average over the whole year!
