Here is something we need to be looking at closely to see what the implications are for our transport needs here in the upper Kedron Brook valley. The government is spending a lot of money ($123 billion) and so we can be sure that our hip pockets will be affected but will there be any benefits for this region?

It’s up to us to take the time to look and think and have input.

The QLD Government invites you to have your say pm tje draft Cpmmectomg SEQ 2031 proposed $123 billion plan to keep South East Queensland moving.

It proposes initiatives and strategies to:
[ul]nearly triple passenger rail capacity by 2031
double the share of trips taken by public transport cycling and walking to reduce congestion and decrease greenhouse gas emissions
invest in freight to support our economy
introduce new technology to better manage our transport system.[/ul]
