  • providing a free community calendar for local events & classes
  • providing a free community directory for local businesses clubs resources facilities
  • providing an on-line community planning forum as a resource for debate & developing agreement about directions for our shared local future
  • Interest-focused e-Newsletters to let members know key events & issues locally
  • researching local facts statistics extracting locally relevant information from reports & news
  • networking with members of other Transition Towns in North West Brisbane (Transition The Gap Transition Enoggera Brisbane Transition Hub Samford Greenstreets…)
  • active membership of a wide range of local groups including Community Consultative Committees
  • giving the community a voice and visibility

  • putting locals & local groups in touch with each other to facilitate working cooperatively
