I just heard at the Markets that Mt Glorious had 300mm of rain in an hour (last week) and there was a similar flash flood down Samford Valley and Dayboro to the one in Toowoomba. We hadn’t heard anything about it. It is really lucky no-one was killed.
We’re lucky Cedar Creek and Kedron Brook have shorter catchments although maybe if they got 300mm in an hour on them it would be dangerous.
