There is a lot of discussion in the media about indigenous communities.
Reading it with a strong focus on our local community in The Grove it raises a lot of questions.
Is the debate at the national level relevant to our local Aboriginal community? How well are they journeying? Are they experiencing disadvantage the way some indigenous communities are elsewhere or not? When the Prime Minister delivers a message to the indigenous people of Australia is she appropriately speaking to our locals here or not?
It feels like part of our local ‘family’ who would be good to get to know a little better to put faces to and to say “How are you?”
