My good friend Lizzie is visiting. She has a body to die for! Slim trim and fantastically fit but she’s not much younger than me so she’s definitely worth listening to on her rules about eating.

So here is Lizzie’s rules:

[ul]Start with a green smoothie in the morning. Consisting of lettuce kale a little spinach banana pineapple juice water Macca powder flax seed oil (for women not men) or coconut oil (for men).
No fruit after 1pm
Eat fruit separately from other foods.
Melon should always be eaten by itself.
For lunch protein tuna salmon with veges or salad.. She never eats ham.
Close to no starches (potatoes rice…)
She has quinoa. Can have it for breakfast or use instead of rice. High protein low carb.
Have a vegetable juice in the afternoon (carrots celery beetroot ginger apple
Dinner: piece of steak or fish with green vegetables or salad or sweet potato
Don’t eat after 7pm at night because your liver does a detox.
Drink about 8 glasses of rain water a day.
You shouldn’t drink a lot of water without having some salt
Has a little bit of milk (preferably organic non-homogenized) in tea but otherwise she doesn’t drink milk.
Doesn’t have much cheese.
Uses coconut oil for cooking and as a moisturizer for skin.
No alcohol([/ul]

Liz has a vast vege garden and dozens of chooks so she picks heaps of food fresh from the garden. She loves eggs.
