The latest Arana Anthology 2011 was launched at the Arana Hills Library by the Arana Writers Group. Copies are $6 each and this year they will also be available on CD.
Ron Holt (0438 352 743) coordinated production of the books and the launch.
Three of the authors read pieces from the Anthology to the group there to celebrate the launch. The Anthology includes 46 short stories articles and poems written by 12 local authors.
The group has produced an anthology about every 2 years since it formed in 1993.
Radio YYY’s Mike Baguley helped with the production of the CD and YYY was at the Launch to preserve some of the occasion for the community.
The Launch was followed by a splendid morning tea.
The Arana Writers Group meets monthly at the Arana Library on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 10am.
