Their [url=http://www.auses.org.au/branch-news/qld/]Brisbane branch[/url] meets every second month. The last meeting was on 10 August so presumably the next one is in October.
My impression is that they are more of an ‘industry association’ than a ‘consumer association’ but they are undoubtedly a source of up-to-date information about what it happening with Solar energy.
