Because of an anomaly in the Zones (Ferny Grove station is Zone 3 for trains Zone 4 for buses) we have a situation where to travel locally by public transport is a 2-zone trip.
If the bus at Ferny Grove station was made Zone 3 and Upper Kedron was also Zone 3 this anomaly would disappear and local transport within The Grove would be 1-zone.
This is what should happen. Short local travel on public transport should be 1-zone. We want to encourage people to live and travel locally more.
