We held the first meeting for the Community Garden project on the 29th AUG 10. It was a successful meeting and we decided on a proposed list of possible sites for our first community garden.
Possible sites are:
– Cassimaties Park Samford road Ferny Grove.
– Upper Kedron Recreational Reserve Upper Kedron road.
– Grovely Sports Ground behind the Grovely Sate Primary School.
– Park grounds next to the Arana Leagues Club on the creek.
– Park land on Caribbean ST Keperra.
– Kindilan Place (park) Kings Park off Cobalt ST.
– Park land on Movilla ST Ferny Grove.
Our next meeting will be Sunday 12th SEP 10 at 2.00pm Upper Kedron Recreational Reserve Upper Kedron Road UBD reference (map 137 F5). We will look at each site and assess its suitability for a possible site. Every one is welcome to attend.
