Members of Pine Rivers U3A (University of the Third Age for the over 50s) are able to come along to this writing class that meets monthly at the Wahminda Guides Hall on Samford Rd Ferny Hills.
The format is we all prepare a written piece up to 1800 words beforehand to bring along and read aloud to the group. We write about our own lives and our family history.
The group is social. After morning tea there is a writing exercise. Members take a turn each bringing morning tea.
Class is from 9.30am to about noon.
