As the game began to play
The scoreboard showed the rising score
And cheers echoed across the field
As the home-team struggled on
But their fate was surely sealed.
The mighty “Falcons” surged ahead
And flew to goal yet again
These flighty mighty “Falcons”
Were there to win and that was plain
They flew across the field
Ruffled feathers in their wake
Invincible birds of prey
Their legend was not at stake
At last the game was done
And each team had made it fun
The “Falcons” showed once more

Girls play at Downey Park (and under 9s play at Rasey Park) in Herston
Boys play (under 9 at Shaw ParkWavell Heights on Friday nights) and Finsbury Park Newmarket Friday nights)
Women play at Downey Park or other locations. Women train Wednesday nights at James Drysdale Reserve except the women who play on artificial turf (they train on Thursday night at Burringbar at the back of Kedron Wavell RSL in Chermside)
Men play on artificial turf at various locations and train at Burringbar.
