Just picking a big basket of Roma tomatoes and my neighbour Sheila walked by with her dog. Gave her some tomatoes and she gave me this good tip on keeping tomatoes.
Wrap them in newspaper and put them in a dark place until you want them. Reckons they keep for months and it was the way the English used to keep tomatoes so they had them at Christmas.
