Telstra is able to upload the cable speed to up to 30Mb/sec now from 17Mb/sec in Ferny Grove and Ferny Hills.
Not sure yet about Arana Hills Keperra Upper Kedron.

The cables are already there. They are upgrading the cable speed.
It is cable but can have free WiFi modem included but it only works within the house – not to take a laptop elsewhere.
ADSL runs through the home phone line. Cable is separate from the home phone line.
If you are already with Telstra:
They will be already upgraded automatically but need to change their plan. Need to contact Telstra. It won’t cost more.
If you aren’t already with Telstra and want to be part of this:
Call Telstra to have this cable. They want to negotiate cheap deals with the fast cable.
