Remember 35mm slide projectors? You might even have a collection of precious ‘blast from the past’ 35mm slides that you can’t enjoy because the old projector is on the blink. Unlike a lot of recent technologies many of these machines were designed to be repairable but today you would be hard-pressed to find a repair shop. Our volunteer fixers can get the covers off and show you what’s wrong. Often it just needs some dust removed or a spot of oil in the right place. If a replacement part is needed they might be able to advise you how to find something that will do.
