The following press release has been circulated for inclusion in local newsletters wherever possible. We look forward to meeting up with some new and prospective members.
Our Carbon Footprint
Local community group Transition the Grove is partnering with Ferny Grove State High School on a project to reduce the carbon footprint of our community. You need only look around the neighborhood to see that many residents have already installed solar panels in a move towards more sustainable energy sources. Among those who have made the move there many stories about their experience. Others are held back by uncertainty arising from a great confusion of media information marketing material and government incentives. Transition the Grove’s Energy Group invites you to join in a community discussion in which those who are considering the change to renewable energy and those who have already made the move can get together and share their insights and experiences.
When: Thursday 12 May at 7:00pm (2nd Thursday each month) Where: Ferny Grove SHS Library 26 McGinn Road Ferny Grove Cost: FREE! Gold coin donation appreciated.
