Dear {usertag:name}
Something for you all to consider.
The University of Qld are auctioning off all their solar panels which were affected by the floods. Each panel is 1.0 x 1.6 meters and can produce 240W. They are Trina brand and retail for $500 in the US which I am told is a very good price. Auction price is expected to be a lot lower than that. There are a few thousand of them plus about 60 x 12kW inverters. Ds thoughts were that we might be able to make a bulk bid if we knew how many member wanted some panels. If you could give this some thought over the next 24 hours so we can discus it at tomorrow nights meeting. Someone will be at the hall from 6:00pm so we can talk about this before and after our guest speaker. The auction is next Tuesday so there isnt much time as this weekend is another long one. D will try to glean as much information as possible for the meeting. Hopefully those members with some solar panel experience will be able to attend tomorrows meeting and help others who might have any questions.
Regards
John Clark
