Jo says: I am a new citizen of Australia migrating from the UK in 2005. I work for the Federal Government and am passionate about the environment.
Subgroup members’ details are accessible via the website to other people in the same subgroup. You are able to contact each other through the Subgroup link. The software module is not ideal but it is the best we have found.
Subgroup members are encouraged to arrange to meet and start talking and planning together. The Constitution has the details applying to Subgroups (see under the Join tab) – they are designed to be very informal. The structure of Transition The Grove is grassroots – action starts with members having the interest and determination to do something not with the management committee delegating.
