We need more help in addressing mould as an issue affecting breathing in QLD.
We did an enormous amount of work cleaning mould away after last summer’s endless humidity but there is no way we have completely eliminated it.
There was a TV show one night about people who had left the Amish in the US. They helped each other with things like building homes… In one case they burned down a family’s house and built a new one because…it had mould in it and they reckoned the Bible has a verse somewhere in the Old Testament that says if your tent gets mouldy to burn it and get a new one!
Well we can’t afford such extreme approaches to the mould problem. And we don’t live in a tent.
However we have no doubt that mould is a very serious health problem.
So all encouragement to roll our sleeves up and attempt further to address the problem gratefully received.
