[u]Peas beans (especially snake and lima beans)[/u]
They provide their own nitrogen so don’t need extra. It just results in lots of leaves with not many peas/beans and attracts powdery mildew.
Like slightly alkaline soils. Dolomite lime will increase alkalinity and add magnesium.
Rock phosphate and a little sulphate of potash before planting.
Don’t overwater. Soils should be drained. Water following planting seeds then don’t water again until the seedlings emerge.
