Sherree Judd of Upper Kedron Drew de Voss of Arana Hills and Nicky Rossouw have been awarded the Scout Medallion for outstanding achievement in completing all levels of the scout award scheme and demonstrating effective leadership and a commitment to community service.
The 3 Scouts spent an average of 50 nights camping and led their troups in a wide range of outdoor activities including 1st-aid canoeing hiking flying citizenship and service activities. They planned and led a hike over 3 days and 30km through rugged bush land leading 4 other scouts (no adults). They now move on from being patrol leaders to venturer scouts.
