Hijust wondering if you’ve ever caught the train to Roma St Parklands – via train the gardens are very accessible. I guess it would be expensive for family groups to travel by train there but I disagree with your statements about it being a ‘publicly funded private estate gardens’. A lot of people who work in the city use the parklands as a much needed oasis for tranquility relaxation and grounding/connecting with nature. It is well used on weekends by diverse cultural groups and is one of the prime places that brings large groups of people together safely (like Southbank New Farm Park etc…)
