WE READY TO FACE THE

2pm Fri 20 May / Auditorium 2 State Library in Ideas Festival

demonstrated resilience in the face of manmade
and natural disasters. This ability has
served the country well in the process of
re-building following such events. Drawing
on his work in the Murray-Darling Basin
Chris Miller Professor of Social Work
and Social Planning School of Social and
Policy Studies Flinders University questions
whether such characteristics will enable
Australia to navigate the uncertainties of
current policy debates. Chris is also featured
in the May edition of the Griffith REVIEW.
