Barking Owl. She growled and twittered. Big yellow eyes. Quite a few species around this area. They do bark like a dog. Stripy underbelly vertical down to her feet. Very flexible necks. They can’t move their eyes so they move their head turning it right round to look behind. Really powerful claws. Owls have incredable hearing. One of their ears is slightly higher than the other one which enables them to triangulate sound so even on a really cloudy night they can hunt by sound alone. They have a special type of really soft feathers that enables them to fly really silently which helps them to hunt their prey. Her growl sounds like an animal growling.
