A 2-year project which has just passed the halfway mark will double the electricity supply available to homes and businesses in Grovely Keperra Upper Kedron and Ferny Grove. The substation at Callan St Keperra is having 2 new 25MVA transformers installed as part of a $9 million upgrade to the area’s network. The upgrade will give Energex technicians more switching options to restore power faster after unexpected damage to the network. It will bolster the northwest’s electricity network which was operating under increasing demands.
