It is not clear from the proposals whether the residential areas shown in the proposals are private or public housing.
Queensland Housing has apparently sold quite a lot of housing in Keperra because it wants to move from multi-bedroom homes to more single bedroom units. The proposed residential at the Ferny Grove Station might well be in line for this. In which case the proposal would involve a big socioeconomic shift in Ferny Grove as well as 3-storey residential units. We need to find out more and think through the implications.
