Most of the technological items we see at Repair Cafe The Grove are digital electronics but this one was purely mechanical. It’s an ‘Orbital Model’ illustrating the relationship between the sun, moon and earth as they revolve and rotate. To fix unusual items like this our volunteer fixers need to be problem solvers who can figure out things they may have never seen before.
