About the only condition we have for accepting items at Repair Cafe The Grove is that you must be able to carry it in, and carry it out again whether, or not, we manage to fix it. It caused a bit of a stir when the owner of this massive, but broken, table base (and it’s only the base) managed to carry it in single-handed. We’re fixers, not cabinet-makers, but with some judicious screwing and glueing we managed to fix it with only a few visible scars.
