The health service providers operating out of Great Western Super Centre in Keperra are cooperating to cover as many bases as possible and are calling themselves ‘Great Western 7 day Super Clinic’.

We need to think about the Federal Government’s proposals for super clinics because what the Federal Government means by ‘local health’ and what we mean by ‘local health’ might be worlds apart. For example a Federal Government local super clinic might be in Strathpine (to service us here).

Whether local services moving to the super clinic model would have any chance of attracting Federal funding support is a good question.

A broader approach is for us to treat The Grove in total as our local area and all health service providers in The Grove as being our ‘local health service’.
