Ferny Hills State School BER Resource Centre Opens
This week saw the proud opening of the new Library and Resource Centre at Ferny Hills
State School. The new Resource Centre which is a
product of the Federal Government’s Building the
Education Revolution fund is a terrific new asset to the
staff and students of the school. Not only does the new
centre meet the needs of the new high-tech learning
environment in the 21st century but it has enabled the
school to re-deploy the old library building as extra classroom
space. While Senator Furner other invited guests
and I were present for the Centre opening we were also
lucky enough to hand out the year seven leadership
badges for 2012. It was a great morning all round.
