Frank and Jeanette and a few of us did a trip to Rocklea Markets one Friday morning and that was fantastic. Prices were so low and the produce so fresh. Jeanette showed us how to prepare a lot of it to freeze.

We sometimes visit an Indian wholesaler in Murrarie and that is an amazing adventure. Once again very cheap buying bulk.

I’ve done a lot of work on identifying a core list of foods that if you have in your cupboard you can make just about anything. (Just have a Christmas cake in the oven made readily out of standard food stores for example and it is superb.) Keeping these topped up and turning over is always important.
