Moreton Bay Regional Council has recently agreed to a request from Cr Brian Battersby to start the needs assessment for a second “local level” community centre in Division 10 costing $4-8million.
“Our present one at Dawson Pde Arana Hills is located in the south and is well used. Early days yet however do you have a suggestion for a suitable site?” asks Brian.

Those of us who live in the BCC side of the upper Kedron Brook valley in the meantime go several shades greener. It is hard not to be envious when we see the constant flow of excellent facilities to the other side of the Creek. It says a great deal for how well the local Councillor does his job in MBRC. We looked forward to the day it is matched on this side of the Creek.
