Kedron Brook Catchment Network will be part of the Tree Planting at Bob Cassimaty Park from 8:30am on 28th April.
They will also have a presence as part of the Transition The Grove marquee at the Ferny Grove Festival at Ferny Grove State School.
Transition The Grove is a keen supporter of the work the Kedron Brook Catchment Network does including being an ‘organisation member’ because the Kedron Brook Catchment and the Cabbage Tree Creek Catchment (Northern Rivers Catchment Network) define where we are.
Catchment-based awareness of place is a different way of thinking but when we start by a deep awareness of the catchment we live in then all forces join to work with what we are doing.
The bio-region the ecology the natural flow of the land that enables us as people to move around our clustering around the brook and creek tributaries our sporting fields along the brook flood-plains our shared climate our protective ring of high ranges that separate us quite effectively from communities on the other side of the ranges.
