Coming Up in November

Saturday 6 November – Glideways in Ferny Grove

Join the Kedron Brook Catchment Branch for the launch of the Glideways in Ferny Grove project. You can join up on the day to be part of the community glider survey team.

Transition The Grove is supporting this local environmental project and will have have a market stall at the event (weather permitting). Call in for a chat and a cuppa!

Sunday 14 November – Transition The Grove Energy Group meeting

In November our regular monthly meeting will focus on discussion and planning for the Transition The Grove Energy Group. Community projects that might be considered are:

  • A Solar Panel ‘bulk-buy’ project.
  • A solar ‘mini expo’.
  • Educational seminars on renewable energy.
  • …other ideas not yet suggested?

We will also review the launch of the Zero Carbon Australia 2020 Stationary Energy Plan.

Radio 4YYY 87.6FM – Our local radio station

Transition The Grove now has a regular one-hour segment on 4YYY where we play a wide range of music and looks at life and environment in the upper Kedron Brook valley and living locally.

Mondays 8pm Tuesdays 5pm Wednesday 2pm Thursday 2pm Friday 10am Saturday 8am Sunday 10pm
One hour program repeated daily for the week.
