Most local school tuckshops need more volunteers for their rosters. If you have a morning a month you can spare how about doing something for your community and volunteering?
Grovely State School looks after its volunteers very well. Contact Cathy the Chaplain as a first port of call. They have a wide range of volunteer roles needing filling. If you’re not a parent with a child at the school you’ll need a Blue Card but they help organise that.
