On September 20th we attended a live web-cast about a review of the UN Millenium Development Goals. The five key speakers shared their experiences in making a difference against seemingly impossible odds. They were:

[b]Graça Machel[/b] on the key role of women and girls in achieving social change.
[b]Hans Rosling[/b] uses statistics to show concrete examples of progress in child health.
[b]Melinda Gates[/b] on Progress on the Millenium Development Goals lessons learned from soda pop and her definition of happiness.
[b]The Revolutionary Optimists[/b] Children in Calcutta’s poorest neighborhood work to improve polio immunization rates in their community. [/ul]
