Geoff Wilson MP visited Patricks Road State School to present students with certificates and to cogratulate them on their achievements in the Premier’s Reading Challenge. The Challenge was to each read 20 books (Prep – Year 4) or 15 books (Years 5-7) in 16 weeks.
It’s important for children to learn to love reading from an early age as reading for just 20 minutes a day makes all the difference.
