- “The Gap” Leisure Club (started years ago in The Gap before moving to The Grove) meets each Wednesday morning at 9.30am at Ferny Grove Bowls Sports & Community Club. $5 includes morning tea indoor bowls rummy king 500 bingo bus trips. For retired people.
- National Seniors Ferny Grove meets at Arana Leagues Club. Arana Leagues runs a courtesy bus to and from The Grove for members.
- Arana Hills & District Senior Citizens Club Inc. President: D. Fahey 3355 1862. Secretary: M.Taylor 3408 8962 A. Craig 3355 9674. Meets every week on Friday mornings at The Hills District Community Centre in Dawson Parade from 9am to noon for social activities such as bingo concerts mystery bus trips.
- Arana Leagues Club is popular throughout the week with seniors with cheap nutritious meals a social atmosphere and live music and pokies.
- U3A Pine Rivers is active in The Grove at Bunya House Arana Library and The Hills PCYC and the courses are very popular.
- Arana Seniors meets for social activities at The Hills Community Centre in Dawson Pde each Friday morning. 9am-noon. Also Wednesday and Friday afternoons 1-3pm for bingo. Contact Jenny Andrews. $7/yr membership and $2/visit.
- Ferny Grove Bowls Club has a good proportion of senior members
- Arana Hills Bridge Club has members of all ages. Many join at retirement.
