Our local schools have great music programs for the children but what about the adults?
Ferny Grove State School is currently running an Adult Starters Band on Tuesday evenings (stage at back of hall)for parents.
There are hopes to organise a community band after this initial 6-week course.
They have also been invited to join the community orchestra being run by Annie at Grovely State School.
I went along to see how it was going and found a circle of clarinet trumpets French horn saxophones ..
