Moreton Bay Regional Council has been doing an upgrade on this intersection.
Line markings have been adjusted. Traffic signals have been coordinated to ease grid-lock during peak times. Two dedicated turning lanes on Patricks Rd have been created and two through lanes on Dawson Pde. Motorists should have about 25% more time to make left or right hand turns.
Dawson Pde has recently had $500000 spent on rehabilitating it.
