Brisbane City Council has approved funding for bikepaths int he north-western suburbs.
The total for the north-west is $1.7 million.
Councillor Andrew Wines will have $320000 to spend in the Enoggera Ward for footpath upgrades at his discretion.
It will be very important to ensure that the suburbs of Upper Kedron Ferny Grove and Keperra get their share of this – we are still not linked into the city-wide network of bike paths.
Ferny Grove will receive an upgrade – we don’t have any details about what has been approved on this.
