No the grants aren’t for individuals. They are for not-for-profit groups. So a group such as Transition The Grove Inc might apply for a grant for a project for a local school or environment or energy or water project or energy descent project. This might be educational a function a facility some work…Need to look at the particular guidelines for each grant carefully. So it might be to instal a rainwater tank on something like the local bridge club building’s roof. Or it might be to put photovoltaic panels on the bridge club’s roof. Or it might be to run a whole heap of seminars for local residents on household waste reduction.
