Took the grandkids to the park to get their quality assessment of the equipment.
The shade cloth is all installed now.
They had a good play – took a bit for them to learn to use some of the equipment but that didn’t hurt them.
I entertained myself picking up rubbish and cigarette butts from around the play equipment. There is only one bench to sit on and it is quite a way from the play equipment not under the shelter. If it was a hot sunny day it wouldn’t be much help.
The drinking fountain tap is good and the rubbish bin came in handy for the handfuls of rubbish.
Quite a few cars were zooming home along Leckmy St at a great pace. You wouldn’t want kids running out of the park onto the road not that it seems a great risk – the play equipment is a good way from the road.
