Hi All
I believe many of you are already aware of the Grants Information Session being hosted by the office of Wayne Swan MP on Saturday 9th April.
If you were not aware of this event you can still rsvp until Friday 8th April around midday to confirm your attendance. There has been a strong response to this event so far and the networking opportunities will be strong.
I have attached a brief of the event sent to me and further info below that has the details of the event and how to rsvp to the event:
“Government Funding Grants: Getting the most for your organisation Australia’s volunteering spirit has never shined more brightly than this year.
Community organisations have always formed the backbone of our community and I am committed to ensuring you have access to every support available.
That is why I’ll be hosting a special Grants Information Session to provide advice and handy hints on how to best secure Council State and Federal Government Funding Grants.
Saturday 9th April at 9am
St Dympna’s Parish School Hall
491 Robinson Road Aspley
The number of different grants available to community organisations is many and varied. My Grants Information Session will see representatives from all three levels of Government explain the “ins and outs” of navigating your way through the grants application process and outline how to best apply for them.
Organisations such as yours simply wouldn’t exist if it were not for the tireless contributions made by volunteers. I am proud to be able to continue to support those that support our community.
My office is always available to assist your organisation whether it is with photocopying letters of support or simply providing advice – we’re here to help. If you’d like any assistance please call my office on 3266 8244 or email wayne.swan.mp@aph.gov.au
Please RSVP by Friday 8th April by phone or email. If you are unable to attend.
I look forward to seeing you at my Grants Information Session and more importantly continuing to work with you in making the Northside an even better place to live.
Yours sincerely
WAYNE SWAN MP
Deputy Prime Minister and Treasurer
Federal Member for Lilley ”
Hope to see some of you there.
With regards
Donna
