Queensland Rail has a Community Reference Group for the Ferny Grove line that meets on a regular basis. It provides information to community members about the operation of the train service, and receives advice and feedback from the community.

Local State member Geoff Wilson has a Transport Committee that meets from time to time to discuss matters concerning transport for the Ferny Grove electorate.
